Wendy Leach

I have worked in the health and care sector since 1983, initially as a nurse, secondly as a natural practitioner and thirdly as a teacher/tutor. In 1996 I re-trained as a natural therapist, and in 1998 I was offered the post of complementary therapies co-ordinator at a local hospice where I developed and manged a team of therapists. This role enabled me to be instrumental in developing policies and procedures for the use of therapies in hospice movements, locally, nationally and internationally. Over the years and to the present day, I have promoted and delivered short massage and aromatherapy workshops to health professionals and volunteers in Asia, Europe and the UK.  I was the first UK speaker/tutor in Taiwan, Italy and East Malaysia, to introduce complementary therapies into hospice care. In 2008, I was appointed as Head of Therapies, then Therapeutic Lead & Practice Tutor in a large caring organisation specialising in dementia care. In 2017 I started work as a freelance tutor and consultant within the health & social care sector, supporting organisations with

  • Statutory and mandatory training
  • Learning & development opportunities
  • Bespoke course/workshops
  • Leadership & Management

I am qualified to teach to diploma and Level 5 and have qualifications in many other subjects and hold my Certificate in Education as well as my assessor’s award. I am adept at utilising my skills as a tutor in many educational areas associated with health and well-being and run diploma courses in anatomy and physiology and therapeutic massage. Other bespoke workshops are designed to meet organisational and customer requirements with a focus on specific outcomes and objectives. I was fortunate enought to deliver the RESTORE 2 pilot training within Cornwall in 2019 through my other business called Elite3Consultancy. Since April 2020 I  have been working in collaboration with South West Academic Health Science Network (SWAHSN) to deliver a scaled down version of RESTORE 2 via a virtual platform across the South West in response to COVID-19. I have also recently been commissioned to deliver RESTORE 2 face to face by Torbay & South Devon NHS Foundation Trust

I bring to you a  wealth of experience in the field of health and body balance together with a passion for promoting good health and wellbeing, helping people recover from ill-health, rediscover themselves and enjoy their bodies once again. I am  also qualified in several touch therapies.

Through these therapies, I offer you an opportunity to experience the unique connection, yet freedom between your body structure, mind and energy. My experienced hands and touch equates to fine tuning an instrument. This fine tuning enables you, the individual to engage with your senses via your nervous system, giving a more fulfilling purpose to your life, and a feeling of complete system balance. Through the use of gentle touch as the medium, the therapies offered can have a direct and beneficial effect on any person regardless of what symptoms of ill health you are exhibiting. They benefit a wide range of people and have extensive applications in health and well-being.
